A tribute to three generations, bound by tradition and excellence. The story begins in Puglia, Italy, where Ralph Oggiano, one of the most celebrated photographers of the first half of the 20th century, first began making wine. Then his son-in-law Arthur Mercante, a World Renowned eight time Hall of Fame boxing referee known for officiating the historic Ali-Frazier fight joined the tradition.

Away from the spotlight, Arthur found solace in making wine with his son, Captain James Mercante. When he wasn’t at sea, James joined his father in learning the art of winemaking. Driven by his passion, and now a distinguished American Maritime Lawyer, James with his wife Annie returned to his ancestral home in Puglia and beyond to seek the finest appellations and local artisans to produce wines that not only celebrate his family heritage, but embody Italian excellence in winemaking.
